1. Who these terms are between
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you (whether booking as an individual or on behalf of an employer or organisation, "you", "your company") and [WooWoo World legal entity name to be inserted] ("WooWoo World", "we", "us"), operating training programmes under the WooWoo World and WooWoo PBS names at Sri Wangsaria Condominium, Bangsar, KL and online via woowoo.world and woowooworld.co, of registered address [Registered office address to be inserted].
By completing a booking, ticking the acceptance checkbox at checkout, or making payment, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. What we offer
We run four formats of AI strategy and implementation training, each described in full on our booking page at the time of purchase:
- Briefing — a 1–2 hour executive session.
- 1-Day Deep Dive — a single full-day workshop.
- Masterclass — one day per week for five consecutive weeks.
- Bootcamp — five consecutive weekdays.
All currently bookable programmes are held at Sri Wangsaria Condominium, Bangsar, KL and are HRD Corp claimable. See Section 9 for what that does and does not mean for you.
3. Bookings and payment
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not hold seats on request, and prices, availability, and discount eligibility are calculated at the moment of checkout — not guaranteed in advance.
You are responsible for checking that the delegate names, job titles, companies, and contact details you provide are accurate, as these are used for registration, certification, and HRD Corp documentation.
Delegate substitutions
If a named delegate can no longer attend, you may substitute another delegate from the same organisation at no charge, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before the session begins. This does not count as a cancellation and does not affect your booking's terms.
4. Pricing and discounts
Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and may include the following discounts, which are calculated separately and then both subtracted from the full list price (they are not compounded on top of each other):
- Eng Lian early-bird discount — a limited-time 50% reduction, available only during the specific dates published for each programme.
- Group booking discount — a further reduction based on the number of delegates booked together in a single transaction, on a published sliding scale.
Whether a given booking is treated as "Heavily Discounted" or a "Standard Discount" booking for cancellation purposes (Section 6) is determined automatically at the point of sale, based on the total discount applied. This is shown to you before you pay.
5. Booking Protection (optional)
At checkout, you may optionally add Booking Protection for a fee of 8% of your total purchase price (calculated on the full group booking, not per delegate).
Booking Protection does not create an unconditional right to a refund. Instead, it upgrades your booking's cancellation terms by one tier, as set out in Section 6:
- On a Heavily Discounted booking, Booking Protection moves you into Standard Discount cancellation terms — meaning you gain the 72-hour cancellation window that would otherwise not exist at all for that booking.
- On a Standard Discount booking, Booking Protection removes the 72-hour cutoff entirely, letting you request Tokens or a resale-first refund at any point up until the session begins.
Booking Protection does not cover no-shows under any circumstances (Section 7), and the Booking Protection fee itself is always non-refundable, whether or not you go on to cancel.
6. Cancellations and refunds
We want to be upfront: our default position is that discounted training seats are not returnable, because discounted pricing is only sustainable if bookings are reliable. The exceptions below exist to be fair to delegates facing genuine last-minute circumstances, without undermining that pricing.
Heavily Discounted bookings (50% or more off list price)
These bookings — which include any booking made using the Eng Lian early-bird rate — carry a strict no-return policy. No refund, Token, or credit is available for a change of mind or ordinary scheduling conflict, unless Booking Protection was purchased (Section 5) or Section 8 (circumstances beyond your control) applies.
Standard Discount bookings (less than 50% off list price)
These bookings — full-price bookings and bookings using only the group discount — may be cancelled any time up until 72 hours before the session (or, for Masterclass and Bootcamp, the first session) begins. Within that 72-hour window, the booking becomes non-returnable, in the same way as a Heavily Discounted booking, unless Booking Protection was purchased.
Where a cancellation is permitted under the above, we will always offer WooWoo Tokens first, before considering a cash refund (Section 7). To cancel, email us with your booking reference before the applicable deadline — we do not currently offer self-service cancellation through the website.
7. WooWoo Tokens and cash refunds
Where a cancellation is eligible for compensation under Section 6:
- We will first offer WooWoo Tokens worth 110% of the amount paid for the training itself (this bonus does not apply to the Booking Protection fee, which is never refunded or converted). Tokens can be redeemed against any future WooWoo World workshop or briefing, do not expire within 12 months of issue, and have no cash value.
- If you decline Tokens and Booking Protection was purchased, we will instead attempt a resale-first cash refund: we will try to resell your vacated seat before the session begins. If we succeed, you receive a cash refund. If we do not, the Token offer remains available to you instead — a cash refund is not otherwise guaranteed.
No-shows are never eligible for a refund or Tokens, regardless of discount tier or whether Booking Protection was purchased. This is a firm policy with no exceptions, other than at our sole discretion under Section 8.
8. Circumstances beyond your control
If a delegate is unable to attend due to genuine circumstances beyond their control — for example, serious illness, bereavement, or a medical emergency — we will consider a refund or Token conversion on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion, even where the standard rules in Section 6 would not otherwise permit one. We may ask for reasonable supporting evidence. This is a discretionary goodwill provision, not a guaranteed entitlement.
9. HRD Corp claims
All currently bookable programmes are structured to be HRD Corp claimable. We will provide the documentation reasonably required to support your organisation's claim (for example, invoices and attendance confirmation). However:
- The claim itself is submitted by your organisation directly to HRD Corp, under your organisation's own HRD Corp account and levy entitlement.
- We do not control, and cannot guarantee, HRD Corp's approval of any claim.
- Your payment obligation to us is independent of your HRD Corp claim outcome — a delayed or rejected claim does not entitle you to a refund from us.
10. Programme changes and cancellation by us
We reserve the right to reschedule a cohort, change the trainer, or (in rare cases) cancel a cohort — for example, if minimum numbers are not met. If we cancel a cohort outright, you will receive a full cash refund or, if you prefer, WooWoo Tokens at 110% of the amount paid. This applies regardless of your booking's discount tier.
11. Conduct, materials, and intellectual property
Course materials are provided for the personal use of registered delegates and their organisation's internal reference only. They may not be resold, redistributed, or used to deliver competing training without our written permission.
We ask that delegates conduct themselves respectfully towards trainers and other attendees. We may remove a delegate from a session for conduct that disrupts the training or is abusive towards others, without any obligation to refund.
12. No guarantee of business outcomes
Our training is designed to build genuine capability, but we do not and cannot guarantee specific business results, revenue outcomes, or promotions arising from attendance. Implementation success depends on factors outside our control.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you actually paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you complete a booking is the one that applies to that booking. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms, or requests to cancel a booking, can be sent to [booking contact email to be inserted].
